Who owns the data I upload, and is it used to train AI models?
You do. We do not own your data, and you own the reports you produce with it. We do not use personal information, including health information, in identifiable form to train, fine-tune or develop any AI model, and we contractually require our AI providers not to train their models on data we submit. We may use irreversibly de-identified and aggregated data to evaluate and improve the platform, and we will not attempt to re-identify anyone from it. When your subscription ends your data is available for export for 30 days and is then deleted. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms.
How much time does Medilee save per report?
In pilot testing with practising specialists, preparation fell from four to five hours to around fifteen minutes per file. Your results will vary with case mix.
How does Medilee handle very large referral files?
Medilee is validated on referral files exceeding 500 pages. It builds the chronology, brings the relevant clinical history forward and flags conflicting details for you to check.
Is my data secure, and where is it hosted?
Your data is hosted in Australia for Australian customers, encrypted at rest and in transit, and protected by role-based access and full audit logging. Medilee is independently certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security management, and has completed a SOC 2 Type 1 examination.
